The Hawai’i Cord Blood Bank would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for the generous support to our program. The $1,500 grant money from Ad Up Hawaii will help us continue our mission.
The need for contributions for charitable organizations grows each year and so we are honored to have received this support. Our mission to save lives would not be possible without the support within our community.
Mahalo to Ad Up Hawaii for their dedication and passion to make a positive contribution to our community.

Thank you so much for Ad Up Hawaii’s grant! It comes at a great time as we are focusing on increasing our brand awareness with social media and other marketing strategies. This grant will help us to do so, especially during these challenging economic times.
Ad UP Hawaii has helped HUGS in many ways in the past and we are grateful!

Congrats on a terrific inaugural event! I thought everything was well organized and the participants all seemed to be thoroughly engaged and excited about the outcomes. If AD UP Hawaii is any indication, you folks are doing great things to make our community a better place.

President, AIO
The entire AD UP event was informative and invigorating. I learned much about the process behind advertising and gained a lot of knowledge from the workshops we non-profits attended. When our advertising plans were revealed, I was elated to have such a tailor-made package created for us. All of that would have made it a wonderful experience, but the icing on the cake is that our advertising team members have agreed to volunteer their time to help put that plan into action. For a small non-profit with a tiny budget, this is the mother-load!
I cannot say enough about the success of our participation in AD UP. We would do it again in a heartbeat!

Good Beginnings Alliance got so many great marketing ideas from our AD UP team! It was awesome to have access to the type of talent that non-profits often can’t afford.
Deborah Zysman
Executive Director, Good Beginnings Alliance
AD UP was a great experience for Honolulu Habitat. We were able to develop our 2015 marketing plan with advertising professionals by our side and use their expertise. We also got to spend the day gaining insight on some core advertising needs that we have. As is the case with all Kokua.org events, networking is at the core. The time spent with other nonprofits and sharing knowledge was invaluable and made our day AD UP time well spent.
Jim Murphy
Executive Director, Honolulu Habitat for Humanity
I just wanted to say thank you so much for putting on an amazing event this past weekend. As a student, I got a tremendous amount of value out of working with real advertising professionals. As stressful as that day was, it was a completely worthwhile experience. The judges comments and critiques during the winner announcements were so humbling for me. It definitely reiterated my passion for this field. So thank you again to Tori, Evan, Debbie, and everyone else who helped make that day happen. Until next time guys! Take care.
